A Certified ISFM Cat Friendly Professional

Katie qualified as a veterinary nurse in November 2021 after completing her BSc honours degree at Hartpury University and joined the AlphaPet team in December 2021. She then went on to complete a certificate in in Feline Nursing with ISFM which she passed with Distinction! This demonstrates Katie’s love and commitment to feline medicine and the care they receive in practice.

Katie is also one of our Clinical Supervisors who trains up our Student Veterinary Nurses.

Katie has an interest in animal behaviour, nursing clinics and surgery and is looking to further her education in those areas. Katie also has a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management.

Outside of work Katie enjoys paddle boarding, baking and watching formula 1. She has a black rescue cat called Enza.
