AlphaPet Bognor Regis is an RCVS Accredited Small Animal Hospital.
But what does this mean and aren't all vets the same?
Our practice has been inspected by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) to ensure that we meet the very high standards they require of a hospital practice.
Amongst other things, hospital status means that there are veterinary staff on the premises every hour of every day of every year caring for hospitalised pets and wildlife.
Not all practices offer this. Many either leave non-critical patients unattended overnight or will transfer more critical patients to another distant emergency or hospital-based practice overnight from where they have to be transported back again in the morning.
At AlphaPet, we do not believe this is in the best interests of the patients placed in our care, so we invest heavily in providing genuine 24/7 onsite hospitalisation facilities as well as a 24/7 emergency service.
