A Certified ISFM Cat Friendly Professional
Sam first went into Veterinary nursing when she left school in 1988, the opportunity to qualify then was not so wildly available. After a couple of years, she left the profession to raise her family, but she always had a draw to the profession and knew she would return one day. Then in 2003, her dream came true, she qualified as a Veterinary Nurse! She worked in London at a first opinion practice for many years, until she moved to the South Coast.
She started off as a Locum, before joining IVCE at a practice in Storrington, and then transferring to AlphaPet in December 2019.
Sam enjoys all the aspects of Veterinary Nursing and strives to fulfil the job to the highest standard. She has a keen interest in Emergency Critical Care, Nutrition and Animal Behaviour.
Sam has started her Certificate in Emergency Critical Care, to which she will complete in 2022, then she hopes to start her certificate in Animal Nutrition or further her knowledge in Animal Behaviour.
At home, Sam enjoys the outdoor life with her husband, young daughter and 2 lively English Springer Spaniels who enjoy life to the full. When time allows, they all enjoy hiking and swimming at the beach. And they are slowly travelling and camping around England, one holiday at a time!!
