Have your pet's microchip checked for FREE, courtesy of AlphaPet.
As of April 2016, it is a legal requirement for all dogs to be microchipped. However, what many people do not realise is that it is also a legal requirement for dog owners to ensure that the details registered against that microchip are correct and up to date.
AlphaPet also strongly recommends that all cats are microchipped.
If the information linked to your pet's chip is no longer correct then the whole purpose of the chip becomes rather pointless.
For these reasons, AlphaPet offers a FREE microchip checking service to not only ensure that your chip is in great working condition, but also to help ensure that your contact details are up to date.
Simply fill in the form below with your current details and including your pet's chip number. Your pet's chip number should be on the microchip registration certificate or on your vaccination record card. If you can't locate your pet's microchip number, please let us know and we will check your patient record card. Alternatively, please just drop your pet into one of our surgeries so we can scan them.
Once we have checked our database, we'll contact you by email to inform you whether or not you need to change the details on your pet's chip or not.
