Full Hospitalisation Facilities
We have living accommodation above our West Meads Animal surgery with a nurse living on the premises. This means that when your pet is hospitalised, a veterinary nurse will be looking after your pet’s needs 24 hours a day in addition to the duty veterinary surgeon.
Separate Dog & Cat Hospitalisation Wards
Dogs and cats do not always get on. To help speed recovery, we provide separate dog and cat recovery and hospitalisation facilities at our West Meads surgery.
We have facilities to carry out a wide range of diagnostic tests from routine skin microscopy to detailed blood analysis. This allows us to obtain rapid results (usually within 2 hours) thereby enabling us to treat your pet more promptly.

Each surgery offers large car parking areas next to the buildings.

A Full Range Of Surgical Capabilities
Each surgery is equipped with modern anaesthetic equipment (we use only the safest gaseous anaesthetic agent, Isoflurane) together with surgical facilities allowing us to perform a wide range of procedures on pets ranging from huge Great Dane dogs down to mice and bats!
Problems with poor teeth in cats and dogs are very common. Our modern, comprehensive dental facilities allow us to deal with all of these problems quickly and efficiently.
